Here, in no particular order, are my favorite songs from this year. I haven’t ordered them - to be honest, I intended to, but I’m not sure who it would help.
Also, I’ve included links to hear / watch / download all of the songs here. If I link to an mp3, it’s free and legal, so most of them are from band or label sites.

My Favorite Albums of 2010
This year my music listening followed a somewhat unusual pattern: due to finishing my undergraduate degree last December, I probably listened to more music through the first four months of the year that was typical for me. During the summer, I got married, which was great, and also busy, so I think my listening decreased, and then stayed somewhat low when I entered graduate school in the fall.

WatchI tweeted about this a couple of days ago, but man: this cover of The-Dream’s “Right Side of My Brain” by jj is just really, really good. I have quite literally had this running through my head and/or playing from my speakers nearly constantly this week.
